FAQs

Do I have to do the challenges in order?

Nope. Feel free to tackle them in any order (or disorder) that suits you and only do as many as makes you happy.

When does the challenge end?

April 30th at midnight.

Who decides whether my submission counts?

We have librarians who evaluate submissions and communicate with participants. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, use the contact box. We are happy to listen and advise!

Does this book count?

When you think it does, use the "How does your book fits this challenge?" section on the submission form to explain. Also check out the EXPLORE THE CHALLENGES and ADDITIONAL CHALLENGE INFO pages for guidance.

To do the Book-Club-in-A-Bag do I have to check out the entire bag?

No -- Look through what titles are available through the wonderful Book-Club-In-A-Bag that CEFLS puts together and choose a title that appeals to you then check out that title from the library or get your hands on a single copy in whatever format you wish to consume it in.

Is it my imagination or do I have to read more than one book for one challenge?

It is not your imagination! We have a three book challenge -- any three books from any series. It could be any three from a really long one like the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich or a trilogy like the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

Do the books have to come from the library?

Nope. Nope. No. The books can come from a friend, the store, the library or anywhere. It can be in any format (poetry, play, prose, graphic novel) or medium (electronic, audio, physical book).
