This farmer's market style event ushers in the Spring season, and includes samples, delicious prepared foods, door prizes, and a chance to meet area farmers. It is usually held in early March. Watch for it on the Clinton County Cooperative Extension Facebook page. In 2019, the date was March 2.
Maple Weekend is most commonly held the last two full weekends in March. Hours are 10 am to 4 pm. Tours and samples are free of charge. Pancake breakfasts, where offered, incur a per plate charge. Visit mapleweekend.com to find a participating sugarhouse in Clinton, Essex and Franklin Counties.
