Discover the Adirondack Park - This free iPhone/iPad app lists activities and events in the Adirondack Park during all seasons. It can lead you to outfitters for boating, biking, skiing, hiking and more, and provide maps. Check out the list of half-day easy hikes when spring and summer arrive!
Hot5- Free for iPhone, this app has lots of 5-minute workouts that you can fit in wherever your day allows, and tells you how many calories you burned.
Gympact- Free for iPhone and Android, this app helps motivate you by paying you cash when you do well and charging you when you don't.
Cardiio - A completely new way to check your pulse. Just hold your Apple phone or tablet in front of you and get your heart rate accurately measured in seconds. Can be integrated with RunKeeper.
RunKeeper - This free app lets you track your runs, walks or bike rides using the GPS in your Android or Apple phone.
Zombies Run - This Apple and Android app makes your running workout into a game, with more than 100 missions involving zombies! It costs $2.99. There's also a version to help you train for a 5K race for $1.99.
